Participants must complete the online course before attending their classroom training.

Course Description:

Our Basic Life Support (BLS) course provides healthcare providers and public safety professionals the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adult child and infant patients. This class is taught in a blended learning format and the online portion (accessed via mobile desktop or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the instructor-led skills session.

This course requires 100% participation and completion for both the online and in-class components. Online course materials should be completed prior to attending your practical session.

Once both online and in-class training components have been successfully completed, a CEU certificate, along with a course certificate, will be sent to students via email from the American Red Cross.
