Basic Life Support-BL R.21
Course Length:
2 hours online & 2 hours in-class
Course Description:
The 2021 Basic Life Support (BLS) course provides healthcare providers and public safety professionals the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adult child and infant patients. This class is taught in a blended learning format and the online portion (accessed via mobile desktop or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the instructor-led skills session. Upon successful completion of the course learners will receive a 2-year Basic Life Support digital certificate with anytime anywhere access to certificate and training history. The American Red Cross is an accredited provider of continuing education by the Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education. Healthcare Practitioners.
This course is recommended for Nurses, Doctors, Paramedics, Medical Students, Dentists, Dental Hygienists and anyone working in the private or public healthcare sector. Palm Over Palm First Aid & CPR recommends always checking with your employer or outlined course requirements prior to taking a course.

This course requires 100% participation and completion for both the online and in-class components. Online course materials should be completed prior to attending your practical session. Once both online and in-class training components have been successfully completed, a CEU certificate, along with a course certificate, will be sent to students via email from the American Red Cross. Students who have completed the course and have not yet received their certificate of completion should contact Palm Over Palm First Aid & CPR Corp. directly via phone or email to have this resolved immediately.
Certification:
A 2 Year Certification in Basic Life Support. Red Cross courses offer Digital Certification, an online version of a Red Cross certificate, which provides anytime, anywhere access to student training history and course certificates. Digital certificates can be viewed, printed or shared online and can be accessed anytime through your Red Cross Account. Each certificate includes a unique ID and a QR code which meets employment requirements and allows employers to easily confirm your certificate is valid. There is no need to carry your printed certificate around anymore!
Refund Policy:
Palm Over Palm First Aid & CPR Corp. has a NO REFUND policy as a lot of effort goes into planning our courses and scheduling our instructors. However, if you contact us more than 2 calendar days in advance of your training we would be more than happy to reschedule you to another convenient day.
For reschedule requests with less than 2 days notice from the date of your training, a rescheduling fee will apply. Please note that if you cancel the same day as your training or miss your course without notice, your seat will be forfeited and you must re-book your course to attend on a new date. No refunds will be issued for unused seats before or after the scheduled training date.
Our instructors are paid in advance and many of our classes are filled to capacity. When a student fails to attend, they have also taken a seat away from someone else who could have attended the class.
