Adult First Aid/CPR/AED Review-R.21
Course Length:
2 hours in-class
Course Description:
An abbreviated Adult First Aid/CPR/AED course that briefly reviews course information and allows practice of skills and knowledge before testing. Students must hold current certification of the same course (name and CPR level) to participate in this review course. Consistent with the 2015 AHA Guidelines for CPR/ECC. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED which is valid for 2 years. (2019 Version).
Adult First Aid/CPR/AED recertification courses allow you to update your skills, refresh your memory and extend your certification by two years. Designed for those whose credentials are still valid (or within 30 days of expiring), our abbreviated renewal courses make it possible to avoid a lapse in certification so you can stay certified and stay on the job.
Who Should Take This Course?
This certification is recommended for participants looking for a nationally accredited certification for personal interest or for members of the public seeking to gain or maintain employment requiring First Aid & CPR/AED training for adults. Participants must currently hold a valid (not yet expired by more than 30 days) Adult First Aid/CPR/AED. This includes but is not limited to lifeguards, those working in hospitality, retail settings, construction sites, offices, physical fitness, private security or any other position not included in the healthcare sector. Palm Over Palm First Aid & CPR recommends always checking with your employer or outlined course requirements prior to taking a course.

Pre-Requisites:
This is a Review course designed for students that hold a current Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certificate that is valid/not expired by more than 30 days from one of the following providers only: American Red Cross, National Safety Council, American Heart Association, and American Health and Safety Institute.
Palm Over Palm First Aid & CPR Corp. will only accept certifications issued via nationally recognized OHSA affiliated partners. Certifications expired by over 30 days are not eligible for renewal.
Requirements for Completion:
- Skills demonstration
- 100% attendance
- Participants must bring a copy of their current Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certificate to show the instructor on the day of the class. Electronic copies are accepted.
Once training has been successfully completed, a CEU certificate, along with a course certificate, will be sent to students via email from the American Red Cross. Students who have completed the course and have not yet received their certificate of completion should contact Palm Over Palm First Aid & CPR Corp. directly via phone or email to have this resolved immediately.
Certification:
A 2 Year Certification in Adult First Aid/CPR/AED. Red Cross courses offer Digital Certification, an online version of a Red Cross certificate, which provides anytime, anywhere access to student training history and course certificates. Digital certificates can be viewed, printed or shared online and can be accessed anytime through your Red Cross Account. Each certificate includes a unique ID and a QR code which meets employment requirements and allows employers to easily confirm your certificate is valid. There is no need to carry your printed certificate around anymore!
Refund Policy:
Palm Over Palm First Aid & CPR Corp. has a NO REFUND policy as a lot of effort goes into planning our courses and scheduling our instructors. However, if you contact us more than 2 calendar days in advance of your training we would be more than happy to reschedule you to another convenient day.
For reschedule requests with less than 2 days notice from the date of your training, a rescheduling fee will apply. Please note that if you cancel the same day as your training or miss your course without notice, your seat will be forfeited and you must re-book your course to attend on a new date. No refunds will be issued for unused seats before or after the scheduled training date.
Our instructors are paid in advance and many of our classes are filled to capacity. When a student fails to attend, they have also taken a seat away from someone else who could have attended the class.
