Respirator Fit Testing in Miami and Hollywood, FL
Palm Over Palm offers N95, RN95 half-face and M3 full-face respirator fit testing in English and Spanish. Fit tests run 7 days a week, at least 3 times a day at both our Miami and Hollywood locations. Choose your available 15-minute appointment slot and pay in advance.

Before your appointment: important requirements
- Arrive clean-shaven for your fit test.
- Do not eat, drink, chew gum or smoke for 20 minutes before your appointment.
- For standard N95 appointments, you do not need to bring anything. We provide an N95 from our listed standard options at no additional charge.
- For half-face or full-face appointments, bring your own respirator. We have filters available for testing.
- Arrive on time for your reserved 15-minute slot. Late arrivals must reschedule and pay a rescheduling fee. These appointments are often scheduled between other bookings, so we cannot extend your slot.
Which respirators can you test?
Our standard service options are N95, RN95 half-face and M3 full-face fit testing. These options have the same fit-testing price and serve different job requirements. Your employer should identify the respirator required for your work. A result for one model or size should not be assumed to apply to another.
Do I need to bring my respirator?
Standard N95 appointments
You do not need to bring anything for a standard N95 appointment. Our stocked N95 respirators are supplied by 3M:
- 3M N95 1860
- 3M N95 1860S
- 3M N95 1870+
- 3M N95 8210
We provide an N95 from these standard options at no additional charge. This is not a custom-order service: we do not order a respirator based on a submitted size or model request.
Half-face and full-face appointments
You must bring your own half-face or full-face respirator. We have filters available for testing.
Custom requests
If you need a respirator outside our standard options, an additional fee applies. You must acquire it yourself and bring it to the appointment; we do not order it for you. Contact us before booking to confirm whether we can test your equipment and what fee applies.
Does the price change by respirator type?
Our standard N95, RN95 half-face and M3 full-face fit-testing options have the same price. Custom requests carry an additional fee. Late-arrival rescheduling also carries a fee. Contact us to confirm applicable charges before booking.
Can I take the fit test in Spanish?
Yes. Fit testing is available in English and Spanish. Let us know your preferred language when booking.

Where can I have my fit test?
You can come to our Miami or Hollywood location, or we can travel to your workplace for a group of at least 4 people. Contact us to coordinate the location, date, respirator types and preferred language before booking a workplace visit.
When are appointments available?
We run fit tests 7 days a week, at least 3 times a day at both locations. Select an available 15-minute slot for your chosen location and pay in advance. The booking calendar shows the slots available to reserve.
Can I book BLS or First Aid/CPR with my fit test?
Yes. Palm Over Palm also offers Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid/CPR training. If your job requires both a course and a fit test, you can book them back to back, subject to available appointment and class times.
BLS may be relevant for healthcare roles that also require N95 fit testing, while First Aid/CPR may be relevant for roles using half-face or full-face respirators. These are job-specific training requirements, not requirements determined solely by respirator type. Check with your employer which course and certification they require before booking.
Call (754) 275-2880 for help coordinating your course and fit test back to back. Plan the appointments so you can follow the 20-minute no eating, drinking, gum or smoking requirement before your fit test.
What happens if I arrive late?
Late arrivals must reschedule for a fee. Fit tests are often scheduled between other bookings, so your appointment cannot run beyond its reserved slot. Please arrive on time and follow the preparation requirements above.
What should I expect?
The appointment checks the fit of the respirator you need for your job. Your scheduled appointment slot is 15 minutes. The appropriate test procedure depends on the respirator and protection required for your work. Coordinate with your employer's respiratory protection program about the required respirator, testing schedule and any medical clearance required before testing.
What documentation will I receive?
We provide a wallet-sized fit-test certification that you can take with you, along with OSHA paperwork. Palm Over Palm keeps a copy of the paperwork for one year, and you can request a copy by email for up to one year after your fit test.
The one-year period refers to our paperwork retention policy, not a guarantee that your respirator fit will remain suitable for a year. If your face, dental work, weight or equipment changes, ask your employer's respiratory protection program whether your fit needs to be reassessed. Follow that program's retesting and recordkeeping requirements.
