All sessions offered are 100% confirmed to run. Do not be discouraged from signing up for a class in a location or a time that is not posted on the American Red Cross online bulletin. All sessions available will run as scheduled!
We have a strict NO REFUND policy.

Adult And Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Challenge-R.21
Course Length:
30 minute skills assessment session in-class (test only)
Course Description:
A brief, in-person skills assessment without any formal class review or Instructor-Led learning, so you can earn your Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification even faster. Preparation for any testing scenarios or exam materials is the responsibility of the participant. Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Challenge courses provide participants the opportunity to demonstrate their current knowledge and skill competency, regardless of whether or not they hold a current Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certificate or any other American Red Cross certification.
***If the participant takes the test and is not successful, they will have to pay an additional course fee at their own expense***
Who Should Take This Course?
This certification is recommended for participants looking for a nationally accredited certification for personal interest or for members of the public seeking to gain or maintain employment requiring First Aid & CPR/AED training for all ages. This includes but is not limited to lifeguards, those working in childcare/daycare settings, retail settings, construction sites, offices, or any other position not included in the healthcare sector. Palm Over Palm First Aid & CPR recommends always checking with your employer or outlined course requirements prior to taking a course.

- Satisfies OSHA workplace safety certification requirements
Pre-Requisites:
The challenge course option is available to all individuals with a current Adult And Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certificate and those who do not hold a certificate. Participants who hold a current Adult And Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certificate may challenge as often as courses are available and their certificate remains valid. Participants who do not possess a current Adult And Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certificate may only challenge once.
Requirements for Completion:
- Skills demonstration
- 100% attendance
Upon completing and passing the 30 minute skills assessment, a CEU certificate, along with a course certificate, will be sent to students via email from the American Red Cross. Students who have completed the course and have not yet received their certificate of completion should contact Palm Over Palm First Aid & CPR Corp. directly via phone or email to have this resolved immediately.
***Participants who are unable to demonstrate that they possess the required knowledge and practical skills to pass the Challenge Course as per American Red Cross standards must enroll and participate in a full course. Participants who do not pass the Basic Life Support Challenge Course are no longer eligible to attempt a challenge again, nor are they eligible to participate in the review course.***
Certification:
A 2 Year Certification in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. Red Cross courses offer Digital Certification, an online version of a Red Cross certificate, which provides anytime, anywhere access to student training history and course certificates. Digital certificates can be viewed, printed or shared online and can be accessed anytime through your Red Cross Account. Each certificate includes a unique ID and a QR code which meets employment requirements and allows employers to easily confirm your certificate is valid. There is no need to carry your printed certificate around anymore!
Refund Policy:
Palm Over Palm First Aid & CPR Corp. has a NO REFUND policy as a lot of effort goes into planning our courses and scheduling our instructors. However, if you contact us more than 2 calendar days in advance of your training we would be more than happy to reschedule you to another convenient day.
For reschedule requests with less than 2 days notice from the date of your training, a rescheduling fee will apply. Please note that if you cancel the same day as your training or miss your course without notice, your seat will be forfeited and you must re-book your course to attend on a new date. No refunds will be issued for unused seats before or after the scheduled training date.
Our instructors are paid in advance and many of our classes are filled to capacity. When a student fails to attend, they have also taken a seat away from someone else who could have attended the class.
